Elijah and Macy : Joplin Missouri Wedding Photographer

As my own children get older, a lot of the wedding inquiries I get are from people that they have grown up with.  It’s so weird.  I’ve known Macy since she was probably in middle school.  And now, she’s married!  Macy and Elijah were married in a beautiful ceremony, officiated by Elijah’s father.  I may or may not have shed a tear, or twelve.

Congratulations to you both and thank you for trusting me to capture this special day for you.  I wish you many many years of happiness!

Macy gave each of her bridesmaids a Diamond Candle.  I knew exactly what they were as soon as I saw them and thought it was such an awesome idea for a bridesmaids gift!  Have you heard of these candles?  There are real rings worth $10, $100, $1,000, or $5,000 in all of the  full-sized ring candles.  Seriously.  Can you imagine burning your candle down and finding a fantastic jewel?!  I sure hope the bridesmaids will keep us posted about what they end up with!

Macy, you are absolutely stunning!

How beautiful is this bridal party?!

Love love LOVE this!

One of Macy’s bridesmaids made these SCRUMPTIOUS cupcakes.  SO good!

Best friends since high school.  I.  Love.  This.

I meant to get this sneak peek up before heading off to Colorado for our church youth camp. Unfortunately, my blog was acting crazy and I wasn’t able to post it. So, better late than never, here are Whitney and Dane on their gorgeous wedding day in Ardmore. It was SUCH a fun wedding, from start to finish. And there were so many wonderful touches throughout the entire day. Congratulations you two!

Lauren and Zach : Stillwater Oklahoma Wedding Photographer

Ok, here it is! The real sneak peek for one of my most wonderful couples. Lauren and Zach’s wedding day just radiated with fun and joy and LOVE and I’m so excited to share it all with you. There were SO many amazing little details that just made the day. I am so honored to have been able to be there and experience this with them. Thank you Mr. and Mrs.!

The room where the girls were getting ready was decorated with fun photos of the bride and her bridesmaids all over the tables. Such a fun idea! Oh, and there was candy. Yum!

Yes, the girls wore rain boots. How FUN is that?!

Oh, hey handsome!

I loved this. The guest book was a Jenga game and each guest signed a piece of the game. Now when they play together at home they’ll be able to read all the sweet messages from friends and family. Awesome, right?!

Zach and Lauren opted not to do a first sight before the ceremony. I love the look on both of their faces when they finally saw each other!

As Lauren and Zach danced their first time as husband and wife, the candlelight version of “Down” by Jay Sean played. Then, THIS HAPPENED. The music switched to the real version and the bridal party got DOWN flash mob style!

Toasts with milk and cookies? Yes please!

This guy. All night long, any time I pointed my camera in his direction, I got this face. Ha!

Before they flew off on their scooter, they were bombarded with confetti bombs, silly string and glow sticks! What an end to a fabulous day!
