Kellie & Jordan : Kansas Wedding Photographer

You never know quite what you’re going to get when you plan a December wedding. Kellie and Jordan got a beautiful sunshiny day…with winds to rival the day Dorothy and Toto were swooped away. We were in Kansas after all!

At a fantastic venue just outside of Wichita, these two became one in the bonds of marriage and I was THRILLED to be a part of it. Kellie lived in Stillwater for many years before moving to Kansas and she and my oldest daughter were good friends. So to see “little Kellie”, on her wedding day, and have the opportunity to document it was extra special!

I wish you both a life time of happiness together. Thank you SO MUCH for having Madilee and me with you on your special day!

David and Inger : Oklahoma City Wedding Photographer

In a beautifully simple ceremony, surrounded by their closest friends and family, Inger and David were married. The day called for rain, threatening to cause problems for the outdoor ceremony but it never came. I was so honored to be a part of this day. The love felt from everyone for this couple was amazing. Thank you for allowing me to capture this special day for you guys!

Courtney + Cameron = Taylor : Edmond Oklahoma Wedding Photographer

I love outdoor weddings but I am always a little bit worried that the weather isn’t going to cooperate. I go prepared for hot and humid or rain and wind and hope for the best. September 12th in Oklahoma did not disappoint. It was an absolutely beautiful day and the venue was just gorgeous. I had never been to the Clauren Ridge Vineyard in Edmond before so I was excited to visit and shoot my first wedding there. WOW. That’s about all I can say about that. Not only is the venue amazing, the staff was perfection. If you’re planning a wedding and reading this then you definitely need to check them out.

We started the day off at Courtney’s Grandmother’s house getting ready and laughing a lot.

Next stop was the vineyard to put on her beautiful wedding gown!

Courtney’s dad was in the navy and had a patch of his uniform sewn to the underside of her gown as a surprise.  She then added Cameron’s guard pin.  So special!

Courtney and Cameron decided not to see each other before the wedding and did a “first sight” around this door.  Courtney did however do a first sight with her Daddy and I may have teared up enough that I couldn’t see through my lens.  So there’s that.

Seeing his bride for the first time while his best man comforts him.  Love!

Isn’t this place amazing?!

The first dance with dad was emotional enough.  Then Courtney followed that up with a surprise daddy/daughter dance with a close family friend who lost his daughter in an accident late last year.  It was so touching and I pretty much lost it at that point.

Congratulations Courtney and Cameron!  Thank you so much for choosing me to spend this day with you!
