Kaylynne & Matt : Stillwater Oklahoma Engagement Photographer

We met on a cold day to do their engagement session. It didn’t matter that it was cold though. Their love was enough to keep everyone warm and fuzzy feeling. These two are so in love and it totally shows. They took a chance and met each other online and found a love that will withstand anything. Their wedding will take place next March with an intimate ceremony in Oklahoma City. I’m honored to have been chosen to be a part of it.

Thanks so much you two, enjoy your sneak peek!

This is Kodiak. I love him. A lot. He reminds me a lot of my old sweet dog Inu. I may have to hang out at Matt and Kaylynne’s just to play with Kodiak.

Matt. Matt. Matt. I’ll say one thing, there will never be a dull minute in this marriage!

Ellison : Stillwater Oklahoma Newborn Photographer

Ellie’s mom asked me if there were ever cases where the baby cried the whole time during their newborn session. Yep. Absolutely. That’s why I allow as much time for the session as I do. And it’s also why I offer to meet with them again if we don’t get images that they are happy with. Little Ellie was only 5 days old during our time together and seemed to be having some tummy trouble. Bless her heart, she just couldn’t get comfortable. And since she couldn’t get comfortable, she couldn’t get to sleep. However, we did manage to get some great shots of her…enjoy!

Yes, I took one of her crying. Of course!

Stella : Stillwater Oklahoma Photographer

This. Girl.

Seriously.

I love her! I really do. We had a whole wonderful session planned out for this amazing 13 year old. New head shots, some shots in her acolyte robe at her church, dance shots, some amazing balloon ideas and then we were going to finish it all off with some crazy fun 80’s styled shots. Then…

we looked at the forecast. Rain. We probably could have handled the rain. But the addition of wind chills below freezing put the final damper on things.

We were SO bummed, but then Stella’s mom suggested we do some indoor head shots and then go over to the church to do the shots there and I was like, “YES! That’s what we need to do!”

So we did. Except we had way too much fun at our first location doing the head shots so we never even made it to the church. It was an absolute blast and Stella is incredibly beautiful both inside and out!

And while the session was truly amazing…I’m SO taking this girl out to do the 80’s shoot when it warms up again!
