This is a long overdue post, but I think it will be worth the wait. My dear friend Leah welcomed her second daughter to the world at the end of June and I had the absolute pleasure of documenting the event for her. I absolutely love love LOVE photographing births and wish I had more opportunities to do so. The mix of emotions in a delivery room can be awfully overwhelming and capturing the story of the day along with those emotions is definitely among my favorite things to photograph.
A couple weeks after her arrival, I headed over to the Cangelose home to get some newborn pictures. Waverely apparently hadn’t gotten the memo that it was picture day and did NOT want to go to sleep. I’m pretty sure she just knew that I was there and was afraid to fall asleep and miss any of my witty comments. I’m going to go with that.
