When I arrived at the maid-of-honors house to capture Elizabeth getting ready for her wedding it was a little surreal. I felt like, to some extent, I had watched her grow up. From the OSU student who coached my daughter with Stillwater Volleyball Club to this grown up version of that girl who was preparing to say I Do. Talk about making me feel old!
I loved how relaxed both Elizabeth and Jason were on the day of their wedding. You spend so much time planning the wedding and sometimes brides and grooms are more focused on making sure that everything goes smoothly. It’s refreshing to see a couple just sit back and enjoy the day so that they can remember all the details. Like how it was so warm in the corner of the reception where the cake was that the tiers started caving and falling. Most couples would completely freak out over something like that, right? Elizabeth was more like, “Well. What can you do?!” Kudos to you for not freaking out!

I absolutely ADORED the robes that Elizabeth gave to her bridesmaids to wear while getting ready!
It was extra hot and humid so Elizabeth wanted to wait until the last possible minute to put on her gown. After taking pictures of the guys it was finally time to don the dress. Watching her reaction of seeing herself in her gown on her wedding day was priceless!
I love loading and seeing for the first time the shots that Madi gets just minutes before the wedding party walks down the aisle. Like this one of the girls praying!
As we left the church for the reception there was a storm moving in and the sky was A.Mazing. I wish we would have had more time here because it was so beautiful out!
The reception location was a really awesome building so we did some bridal party pictures there before heading in to get the party started.
Can I just share that this reception was amazing? The decor, the food, the live band, the atmosphere, the PARTY! So. Much. Fun.
When Madi and I left, the party was still going strong. I hope you danced long into the night and had an amazing honeymoon! Congratulations!
