I think when it’s all said and done, I will have probably met with Daniel on 4 separate occasions to get his senior pictures taken. Sometimes, when you are super awesome and have a ton of stuff you are involved in and the weather is not super awesome and rains all the time, you just gotta do what you gotta do. We will be doing the main part of Daniel’s session sometime this summer before he heads off to Rice University for his college career. However, before having to turn in his baseball uniforms we met over a lunch hour-ish and were able to get this part of his session taken care of.
Did I mention that this kid is kinda extra special to me? No? Well, he is. When we moved into our house on Loper back in August of 2003 and Daniel lived across the street from us. He was almost 7 at the time and it turned out that he and my son were born just days apart. They quickly became great friends and so I got to watch Daniel grow into the amazing young man he is today. As president of the senior class, he gave a speech at graduation and dedicated it to my Eli. I may have gotten pretty misty eyed at that point.
We sure do love you Daniel and are so proud of you! Thanks for always being the sensible one of the Eli/Luke/Daniel friendship. 😉
