Amy and John-Kyle : Stillwater Oklahoma Wedding Photographer

I had the absolute honor of documenting Amy and John-Kyle’s wedding a couple of weeks ago.  I just love this couple.  And their families aren’t too shabby either.  Have I mentioned how much I love my job?  Cause I do!  I pretty much have the best clients ever and then we become friends.  Awesome! Also…I have too many pictures here. I couldn’t narrow it down. Sorry!

We started the day off early  with Amy and her girls all getting ready for the festivities.

After that we headed over to the church to put on the dress and prepare for the first sight!

And then…the first sight!

Super fun wedding party? Yes, please!

Prayers before the ceremony always get me choked up.

However, this prayer time between the bride and her sister had me doing a serious ugly-cry face. Thank goodness for my camera blocking me! I pray my daughters grow up and continue to have the love that you two share for each other!

Amy and JK’s college minister has become a closer friend to the couple and performed the wedding ceremony. When it was time to let JK kiss his bride the minister said, “You may now give your bride a high five!” I think it was like watching his daughter get married, so a high five seemed way more appropriate. TOO funny!

And then, Amy’s mom was giving high fives on the way back up the aisle!

When my neighbor’s daughter, grandkids and son were all in town recently they decided to have some family pictures taken. It’s so important to document these relationships and I’m so glad that they did so with me. I really enjoyed getting to meet Shaunte and her sweet girls and brother while they were visiting from California. Hope you guys can make it back again sometime! Except, come when it’s not so hot…Oklahoma really is a nice place! *wink*

Ava : Stillwater Oklahoma Baby Photographer

Look who’s 1! Ava came back for a visit to document her first birthday and she is a little sass-a-frass! So much fun! I had a slew of newborns right before her and gotten into the groove with them and then Miss Sassy comes in and is all over the place. She definitely kept me on my toes! It was a blast though and I loved her little personality. She loves to wrinkle her nose and huff and puff. She loves pickles. And although it’s a little hard to handle and extremely messy she seemed to love her very first ice cream cone!
