Friends, meet Owen. This little guy was 1 just a couple months before our session so this was a 1st birthday/family session and it was SO fun. I came prepared to capture Owen doing what 1 year olds usually do…run around not wanting their picture taken. He didn’t let me down. He’s non-stop on the go and surprisingly fast. Also, he wanted nothing more than to jump into Theta Pond and swim with the ducks. Like, he REALLY wanted in there. Bad. So I did get several shots of him showing his frustration for not being allowed to go swimming but in the midst of those I got a ton of him smiling and having a blast. Here are some of my favorites of Owen and his sweet Mommy and Daddy.

It was hard to get Owen away from the pond but I kept looking up this little hill and the light just looked amazing. I finally tricked him into going to that area and the light didn’t disappoint!
Seriously, I want to bottle up this light and serve it over a salad. It was THAT delicious!
