In a very small ceremony, in their yard in Loveland, my brother and his girlfriend exchanged handwritten vows. It was intimate and honest, officiated by my niece Lucy with my nephew Jackson serving as ring bearer. Yes, apparently in Colorado you don’t have to have an officiant. Matt and Kim planned to simply exchange vows but then decided that Lucy would make a splendid officiant so she stepped in. And let me tell you, she was splendid indeed.
Congratulations Matty and Kim. I love you and am so grateful that I was able to be there for this occasion.
