Jason and Elizabeth will be married in Edmond later this year and came to her old stomping ground for their engagement session. It was a lot like hanging out with an old friend, which I guess it kinda was. Elizabeth was Madi’s volleyball coach several years ago. Then she graduated and moved on and now she’s getting married! I am so excited for her and Jason who I just met for the first time but seems like the perfect fit for her. He’s a fireman and he assured me that if we ran into flames he’d have my back. I mean, clients who are willing to fight fires for you? Doesn’t get much better than that!
Everyone who knows me knows that I am pretty sentimental. Songs, words, phrases…they all have meaning to me when paired with certain people. Elizabeth is the same way. She had this sign made as a way to remember her Grandmother. As her time was drawing near, her husband of 63 years leaned down and whispered to her, “Do you know how much I love you? Do you love me?” She hadn’t spoken for days but she responded to that question with, “You betcha.” They were her last words. That’s the kind of marriage I’m wishing for you Elizabeth!
I can’t wait to capture your wedding in August!
